Most people do their best to be humane, kind, compassionate, and respectful towards others.
Then I ask them, “Do you treat yourself with the same kindness, compassion and respect you offer others?
This question is a stumper.
‘OH, I am kind of hard on myself’ they say...
How can venomous comments, judgments, and disrespect result in goodness? We know how it turns out if we treat our friends, loved ones or strangers poorly.
Could it not be that being kind and compassionate towards ourselves might have a positive outcome?
I believe it’s time to invite a more generous attitude and caring actions to see what will happen.
Self-compassion isn't quite as difficult as you might think.
Here are some simple ways to be more self-compassionate:
🌟Eat nourishing food when you feel hungry
🌟Rest when tired
🌟Move your body in a way which feels good and at a pace that suits you
🌟Take some time each day to see how you feel and what impact the day had on you
🌟Enjoy a few small, still moments in your day
🌟Acknowledge all you do in a day
🌟Care for your body- in and out
The more you build inner resources through self-compassion, the more love and kindness you have for others. It makes you more effective at home and in the world.
Most of all, self-compassion builds courage, inner vitality and self-trust.
Those are the qualities the world needs more of.

Body Loving Nuggets
Foot care: Put on clean, dry socks whenever you put your runners on and make sure all your shoes dry out in between wearings. Don’t give bacteria a chance to disrupt the health of your feet.
Hand Care: Nightly cuticle oil before bed. Put a small amount all over your nail bed, especially around the cuticles. This strengthens, nourishes, and makes your nails look fantastic.
Skin Care: Use a daily cleanser which is formulated for your skin type. Good cleansers help safeguard the integrity of your skin. Remember, skin is not just about beauty- it serves important health functions. Keep yours in top shape by using the right products.

Summer is coming. Get your feet ready for the activities you want to enjoy most. Most of us like to wear sandals or flip-flops. It feels wonderful to let our feet be free and it is healthy to get fresh air and sunshine on them too!
Having said that, bare feet are more subject to drying and cracking, so take a few extra minutes at the end of the day to remove dirt and give them some nourishment with a high-quality foot cream. Plus, book in for regular pedicures. This will keep your feet healthy and comfortable, plus they will look great in your sandals.
