A Beautiful Space for You
Summer is just wrapping up and I feel resourced from the long days, special summer activities, and the general laid-backness of everything.
September means new beginnings and seems a much happier place to start from, rather than January, when I feel like hibernating. It feels more like a time to reflect as well, as I think about how things have gone in the past year. This helps me see progress, sticky places or areas I'd like to focus on going forward.
This September, what routines or new beginnings will align with the values you hold, the vision and goals you have, and the other aspects of life you find most meaningful?
Notes from Glenda
To have a new beginning might mean getting rid of the ‘old’ or ‘not useful’ anymore. Old clothes, old habits, maybe work or chores that someone else could do or you’ve had your quota of… If there’s clutter in your life, there won’t be room for seeing, utilizing and appreciating the good.
I find it useful to go through the different life categories and take stock with a ‘And how is this for me right now? Is there anything about this area that could use a freshen-up or a chunking out?'

One of my favourite shows of the past year has been Queer Eye. Why? Those five people swoop in and help someone gain a new perspective on their life. It’s not just about the new clothes or the remodelled living space - it’s about shifting philosophies and letting love and beauty into all the different aspects of a person. Especially in how someone sees themselves.
Which is what I love to do, too! I may be taking care of your outside (and helping you do the same) yet our work together is about how caring for the outside positively impacts the inside of you. When you are here - we care for all of you.
When the inside and outside align with goodness - it brings new motivation, effectiveness and abundance in all the different areas of life. It also makes handling the harder aspects of life just a little bit easier.
Outside to inside and inside to outside.
Product of the Month
Exfoliation is one of the most important parts of any personal hygiene routine. It is the epitome of getting rid of the old to bring in the new. Old, dead skin is removed and the newer skin is revealed. Skin feels smoother, looks brighter and can receive nourishment much more effectively!
Add exfoliation into your routine 2x a week with one of the following products:
- Exfoliating Pads (renews the epidermis and helps to plump and tighten the skin)
- Satinage (a smoothing, softening scrub with spectacular exfoliating action inspired by microdermabrasion)
- DermaZyme (a very gentle exfoliant that reactivates skin radiance and provides an immediate lifting effect)
Not sure which one is best for you? Simply ask me and I will make a recommendation based on your lifestyle and skin condition or type.

Monthly Specials
Here are the latest SPECIALS. This month includes a Gift with Purchase...so if you haven't had a facial in a while this is a lovely bonus for your skin.
I recommend facials at the turn of the season. A facial helps reset the skin and prepares it for the next cycle of weather and activities. As skin needs change seasonally, September is the perfect time to have a facial. Plus, they feel wonderful!

Endnotes
You might have noticed I took August off from writing this newsletter…I needed a summer break from the different hats I wear. This is a breakthrough for me, to step back and allow myself to relax and renew.
I hope you have been able to do some of the same this summer. You deserve it! Thank you for being wonderful clients- each interaction I have with you is an honour.
Hours
My hours fluctuate. If you can't find a time online, then please call, email or text me. Some weeks I will be doing some contract coachwork and won't know my exact hours until a week or two before. This means what might be blocked off when you look for a spot- will become available closer to the date. So please check in with me and don't be afraid to ask last minute! If I can't get you in then it's likely Kenzie will be able to.
